Tackle twill is an embroidery method that attaches a patch onto a garment with a satin embroidery stitch. Letters and numbers are some of the most common things used, and you most often see tackle twill on sports jerseys, letterman jackets, and other sports merch. what is tackle twill?

Tackle twill is the application of custom-cut twill lettering onto a garment. Any shape, letter, or design can be custom cut from a polyester twill material and sewn onto almost any garment for an extremely finished look. They are then stitched around the edges using a zig-zag or dotted stitch path so that they are permanently fixed to the garment. Tackle twill is a great option for Greek organizations, school sweatshirts, sports jerseys, varsity jackets and more!

  • What is the standard turnaround time?
    Standard turnaround time is 7-10 business days from the time of quote approval and payment. For more information regarding turnaround time, rush orders, and delivery head to Delivery & Turnaround!
  • Can I have my order in a rush?
    We do not offer same day printing services. Turnaround in 5 business days: +30% Turnaround in 3 business days: +50% Turnaround in 1 business days*: +100% ​ *Dependent on garment availability.
  • What are my shipping options?
    Standard turnaround time is 7-14 business days production time*, business days only. If you’d like to expedite your order, alternate shipping options are available on a case-by-case basis. ​ Free order pickup is available at our Totowa, NJ headquarters - with this option, you will not be charged for shipping. ​ *Production time excludes shipping time & is dependent on quick mock approval from the customer.
  • How will my order be shipped?
    All general non-rush orders will be shipped via UPS Ground. Once your order is shipped, we will e-mail you a tracking number, don’t forget to check your spam folder for this one! Expedited UPS shipping methods may be available upon request including but not limited to UPS Next-Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS 3-Day Select.
  • How can I check on the status of my order?
    You can give us a call or send your Customer Account Specialist an e-mail to receive the status of your order! Once your order is shipped, you will also be e-mailed a tracking number.
  • What can affect/delay turnaround times?
    The following items will be subject to a longer turnaround time past our standard turnaround terms: -Printed tags -Hang tags -Hem tags -Folding & bagging -Process prints -Delayed mock-up approval
  • When will my order go into production?
    Your order will begin once all the following as been completed: -Provided screenprint-ready artwork as confirmed by your Customer Account Specialist -Approved mock of your design(s) -Invoice payment
